Hi there. Welcome to our first edition of eNews. This online newsletter replaces all those attatched word documents. You know, the ones we intend to download and read but just never seem to get around to. Well now it's all here in front of you. Enjoy!

The Ukraine is a vast nation bordering Russia. The majority of the fifty million inhabitants live in rural towns and villages. Though it has been more than a decade since the fall of communism, today over 20,000 towns and villages do not yet have a Christian church. It is easy to feel overwhelmed with the task at hand when you consider such statistics. Here in New Zealand, even in the smallest of towns, we have multiple churches preaching the gospel. For the majority of Ukrainians the only hope they will ever have to hear about Jesus is if someone comes and plants a church.

Whilst in the Ukraine I met with a number of national leaders. I was impressed with their faith and commitment. In spite of limited finances and meagre resources, these leaders use everything they have to get the gospel to where it’s needed the most... to read full article click here

The epitaph for King David could very easily have read differently to that recorded in Acts 13:36 where it describes the life of a man who ‘served his generation according to the will and purpose of God and then fell asleep’.  Rather, it could have spoken of an early, untimely death, after a single act of glory, at the hand of a jealous, insecure madman.
